Alex & Laura

It was such a joy & a privilege to be a part of Alex & Laura's amazing wedding day as the planners for The Wedding Collective Giveaway. Over the course of 2015, we got to know Laura & Alex and all the little details of their hearts & lives that they wanted to incorporate into their big day - From signature cocktails to invitation design to making sure that Alex's love of fishing was cleverly integrated into little details. If you didn't read up on Alex & Laura's journey to their wedding day, we highly recommend popping over the The Wedding Collective Giveaway's website to understand the amazing challenges & trials this beautiful couple went through together leading up to their big day.

If you DID keep up with the giveaway via Instagram or Katelyn's blog, you know by now that no matter how many rockstar vendors come together to give a deserving couple their dream wedding, you can't actually guarantee a sunny day. We battled some pretty intense bouts of rain the entire day during set-up, flip flopping between Plan A & Plan B as we tried to decide if we needed to move to the rain plan. We stuck with Plan A & the rain stopped just long enough for Laura to make her way down the aisle to Alex & say, "I do!"

We can't speak highly enough of the amazing vendor friends that we got to create this day alongside. The beautiful Big Spring Farm was the perfect backdrop, providing the rustic charm and scenic landscape that our design needed to shine. Paisley & Jade not only provided the one-of-a-kind flair at places like the ceremony pews, the bar & that show-stopping head table pergola, but even created a hanging cake table just for the occasion (now available in their inventory), which drew everyone's attention to Sorby Sweets' delicate pink cake. Amanda Veronee's jaw-dropping florals graced every corner, from tear inducing bouquets to draping vines on the escort cards to the perfect pop of burgundy on the table arrangements. Jess Creates so perfectly crafted Laura & Alex's invitation suite vision to be elegant with a touch of nautical, artfully integrating calligraphy from The Weekend Type in different areas throughout the wedding design. Chefs Catering swooped in with a delicious dinner, as Shaner Sound kept everyone dancing, in honor of our sweet couple & their joyful day - So well earned, so much love.

Even after all of that being said, that just barely covered some of the amazing vendors that made this day together. Take a peek at Katelyn's gorgeous images from Laura & Alex's wedding day, & see all the vendors that were on this incredible team below!
